IRS Special Saturday Hours Face-to-Face During Tax Season

The IRS announces special Saturday hours for face-to-face help at four Louisiana Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs):

• February 11 – Lake Charles
• March 11 – New Orleans
• April 18 – Shreveport
• May 13 – Baton Rouge

Many IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers across the country will open one Saturday each month in February, March, April, and May, from 9am to 4pm, to offer in-person help without an appointment. Normally, these centers are not open on Saturdays, and people must have appointments to receive services.

IRS encourages everyone to first check its website for the latest information about these special openings before traveling to an office. The link below should be checked periodically, as the dates and locations are subject to change.
