Does your employer pay for your membership?

Many do! If you're not sure whether your firm/company has already arranged to pay for your membership, please check with your administrator or contact Reagan Baham to avoid duplicate payments. If you think your employer may need a little convincing, check out this sample message that you can personalize and share — Why Support My LCPA Membership.

Tax Information for Your Dues

While your dues payment is not tax deductible as a charitable contribution, it may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses or under other provisions of the IRS Code, subject to restrictions imposed as a result of association lobbying activities. LCPA estimates the non-deductible portion of your 2023-34 dues allocable to lobbying is 9%.

Simplified Billing

LCPA’s annual Simplified Billing lets you receive one invoice and make one payment for all your staff’s membership renewals. If your firm/company wants to enroll in simplified billing, contact Diana Johnston, 504.904.1152.
