2023-24 Board of Directors Elected at Annual Meeting

The Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) held its Annual Meeting and Election of Officers on August 9 at The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. The following were elected to positions to our 2023-24 Board of Directors:

John "Bryan" Ehricht, CPA of Hammond, was named Chair of LCPA. Bryan is Managing Director with James, Lambert, Riggs and Associates, Inc. in Hammond. He is a Past President and current Member at-Large of LCPA's Northshore Chapter.

Bryan’s theme for the year ahead is “Faster Forward.” He believes the profession and LCPA are facing multiple changes and it's essential to stay on track, ahead of the curve, and ready to adapt and advance expeditiously. He brings his experience as a proud Eagle Scout, prepared for a lifetime of leadership.

Bridget Kaigler, CPA, CGMA serves as Chair-Elect and will automatically assume the role of Chair in August 2024. She is Senior Director of Tax & Regulatory Reporting at Amedisys, Inc. Bridget is a former trustee for American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Foundation and former AICPA at-Large Council Member. She Past President of LCPA’s Baton Rouge Chapter.

Anthony Rutledge, CPA, MBA of Covington, was elected Treasurer. He is Director, Audit and Assurance Services, with LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors in Covington. Anthony is a Past President and current Member at-Large of LCPA's Northshore Chapter and a past representative of the Society's Emerging CPA Council.

Diane Allison, CPA, CGMA, CGFO was elected to a two-year term (2023-2025) as Member at-Large. She is the Assistant Legislative Auditor, Director of Local Government Services for the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s office. She has previously served as chief financial officer in three different local governments for a combined total of 17 years.

Greg Booth, CPA of Metairie, is serving the second year of a two-year term (2022-2024)as Member at-Large. He is a Director in the EisnerAmper Tax Services Group in Metairie. Greg is a past president of the LCPA's New Orleans Chapter and Emerging CPA Council representative.

Kenneth Champagne, CPA was elected to a new two-year term (2023-2025) as Member at-Large. A Past President of LCPA's Baton Rouge Chapter, Kenneth is Senior Vice President, Business Services with Confie.

Jessica Cormier, CPA is serving the second year of a two-year term (2022-2024) as Member at-Large. A Past President of LCPA's Baton Rouge Chapter, Jessica is the Transformation Strategist at BPM, LLP in Baton Rouge.

Samantha Falgout, CPA was elected to a two-year term (2023-2025) as Member at-Large. Samantha is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Nicholls State University. She also serves as Chapter President-Elect for the South Central Chapter.

J. Drew Pendarvis, CPA is serving the second year of a two-year term as Member at-Large. He is Controller/Office manager of McCartney Oil Company in Jena, LA. He is a past president of the Northeast Chapter. Drew takes great pride and reverence being an active and involved member of LCPA’s Nominating Committee which is responsible for identifying candidates for LCPA's executive leadership and board of directors.

Seth Norris, CPA a native and resident of Ville Platte, will serve as Immediate-Past Chair of LCPA. Seth operates a CPA firm, Norris CPA, LLC, in his hometown. An LCPA board member since 2017, he is also is a Past President of LCPA's Acadiana Chapter and very

LCPA is a non-profit professional association serving more than 5,400 current and future CPAs statewide. It is the premier organization of accountants in the state.
