Overview
In June 2022 the AICPA Auditing Standards Board adopted three new standards. The first two are Statements on Quality Management Standards (SQMS) that supersede Statement on Quality Control Standards (SQCS) 8. The third is a SAS that amends AU-C 220, Quality Control for an Engagement Conducted in Accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards. This course will present the requirements of all three standards and provide commentary and guidance on establishing a risk-based system of quality management.
