Earn and Learn Weekend

Volunteer on October 5 or 6 at the Knock Knock Children's Museum in Baton Rouge and teach kids financial literacy skills.

Society of Louisiana CPAs and Knock Knock Children’s Museum are teaming up to teach children about the importance of earning, saving, and spending wisely Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, during the Earn and Learn — Financial Literacy Weekend.

Volunteer to help spread financial literacy cheer!

We need volunteers to facilitate activity stations throughout the museum's learning zones, where kids collect coins and then decide how to spend, save, or share what they've earned. It's a great hands-on learning event filled with fun, creative, and imaginative play, AND some important financial literacy concepts. Join one or more of these shifts:

  • Sat., October 5 • 9:30a to 12:30p (this shift is filled)
  • Sat., October 5 • 12:30p to 4:00p (this shift is filled)
  • Sun., October 6 • 10:30a to 1:00p (7 more volunteers needed)
  • Sun., October 6 • 1:30p to 4:00p (this shift is filled)

Sunday is free admission day, so please consider volunteering for this day.

To volunteer, contact Ann Lupo at 504.904.1125.

We need items for the Kids' Store!

Does your business or organization have kid-friendly items/giveaways you can donate to the Kids' Store (stickers, lunch bags, cups, stuffed animals, coloring books, small toys, crayons, etc.)? Logo items are welcome. Please use the button above to list items you can donate. You don't have to volunteer for the event to donate items.

Note: Sunday, October 6, is a free day at the Knock Knock Museum, so everyone is welcome to enjoy the event with their family that day.
