Volunteer for Knock Knock Financial Literacy Weekend

Join the Society of Louisiana CPAs for our first-ever Financial Literacy "Earn and Learn" Weekend at the Knock Knock Children’s Museum

January 26-27, 2019 • 1900 Dalrymple Drive, Baton Rouge

Volunteers will facilitate activity stations throughout the museum's learning zones at which children earn stamps (money) for participating. Then kids decide how to spend, save or share what they've earned. It's a great hands-on learning event filled with fun, creative and imaginative play, AND some important financial literacy concepts.

Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:

  • Sat., Jan. 26 • 8:30a to 12:30p
  • Sat., Jan. 26 • 12:30 to 5:00p
  • Sun., Jan. 27 • 10:30a to 2:00p
  • Sun., Jan. 27 • 2:00 to 5:30p In greatest need of volunteers!

Volunteer T-shirts to show your pride!
Shirts will be distributed at the event to registered volunteers as supplies last. Sizes are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed for those signing up after Jan 15.

Come have fun and share your time.
Volunteers are admitted to the museum free of charge. On Sat., Jan. 26, all other general admission guests are $14 for visitors 2 years and older. Children 23 months of age and younger are admitted free. On Sun., Jan. 27, all guests are admitted free. Volunteers may bring their children, but are asked that they be accompanied by another adult during their shift and pay any applicable admission fees on Sat., Jan. 26.
