LCPA Announces 2018 Board Members

The Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) recently announced the following members elected to the non-profit association's 2018-19 Board of Directors:

Kandace Mauldin, CPA, of Houma, was elected 2018-19 Chair. She is the youngest CPA to serve as Chair in LCPA's 107-year history. Ms. Mauldin is CFO of Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government. She also is a Past President of LCPA's South Central Chapter, and served on the association's Emerging CPA Council. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems and an MBA from Nicholls State University. She currently teaches as an adjunct accounting professor at the University.

Jason MacMorran, CPA/ABV/CFF CVA, MS, was named 2018-19 Chair Elect. He will automatically become Chair in June 2019. He also is a Past President of LCPA's Baton Rouge Chapter. Mr. MacMorran is a Director with Postlethwaite & Netterville in Baton Rouge. He has a bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and a Master of Science in Finance from LSU.

Jay Montalbano CPA, CVA, CCIFP, was elected Treasurer. Mr. Montalbano also is a Past President of LCPA's Baton Rouge Chapter. A Partner with Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLP, he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from LSU.

J. Walker Coburn, CPA, a native of Shreveport, will serve the second year of a current two-year term as a Member at-Large. He is a partner in Heard, McElroy & Vestal. Mr. Coburn is a graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS with a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Administration in Accounting.

Gary Dressler, CPA, of Metairie, will serve the second year of a current two-year term as a Member at-Large. Mr. Dressler is an Associate Director with Postlethwaite & Netterville's Tax Services Group in Metairie. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans.

John "Bryan" Ehricht, CPA, of Hammond, was elected to a two-year term as a Member at-Large. Mr. Ehricht is an Associate Director with James, Lambert, Riggs and Associates, Inc. in Hammond. He has a Bachelor's of Science (Accounting) from Centenary College and a Masters in Tax from the University of New Orleans.

Mona R. Fordham, CPA, CGMA, of West Monroe, will serve the second year of a current two-year term as a Member at-Large. Ms. Fordham received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeast Louisiana University. She is the Chief Financial Officer with The Mulhearn Corporation, LLC.

Seth Norris, CPA, a native and resident of Ville Platte, was elected to a two-year term as a Member at-Larg. He is CFO of The Cottonport Bank in Cottonport. Mr. Norris graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.

Alfred E. (Ted) Stacey IV, CPA, was elected to a two-year term as a Member at-Large. Mr. Stacey is a retired Partner from Bourgeois Bennett, L.L.C., a CPA and consulting firm in New Orleans. He is an adjunct professor of accounting at UNO and Loyola.

Gina Rachel, CPA, of Marrero, will serve as Immediate Past Chair. A Past President of LCPA's New Orleans Chapter, Ms. Rachel is a Director with Postlethwaite & Netterville's Tax Services Group in Metairie. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Nicholls State University.
