The US Government Accountability Office has issued a revised Government Auditing Standards, otherwise known as “the Yellow Book.” The GAO standards apply in addition to those of the AICPA when required by law, regulation or contract to those who perform audits of governments, nonprofits or other organizations. This course is designed to fulfill the GAGAS Qualification Requirement. It does not address performance audits.
