Meet the Speakers

Robert Angelico, JD, CPA,
Liskow & Lewis, New Orleans

Bob Angelico is the firm’s president and managing partner. He is a nationally known business lawyer with years of experience helping top-tier companies with sophisticated state and local tax issues throughout Louisiana. As the head of the firm's tax practice group, Bob works to minimize the taxes of his clients, which include manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, non-profits, construction businesses and other entities of all types and sizes.

In addition to oil and gas issues, Bob works on state tax and parish-level sales and property taxes involving complex income, franchise, excise and tobacco tax issues, and he is closely monitoring the tax climate in Louisiana.

He is a Board Certified Tax Specialist ¬ as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization ¬ and a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

James Exnicios, JD, CPA
Liskow & Lewis, New Orleans

Jim Exnicios is an experienced business lawyer and Board Certified Tax Specialist. Jim provides business and tax advice on complex transactions. Jim has also represented numerous multinational and multistate businesses and estates before the Internal Revenue Service, the State of Louisiana Department of Revenue and numerous local taxing authorities in complex audits and litigation. He also provides planning and due diligence for clients during their merger or acquisition transactions.

Before joining Liskow & Lewis, Jim was the head of the business section at Lemle & Kelleher, LLP and worked as a certified public accountant for then Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. as well as Hanlon & Morgan.
