Event Description

This month, we welcome Stephen Harris, Executive Management Officer of the Louisiana Workforce Commission. He’ll provide an update on Louisiana Unemployment Insurance for Employers and its impact on both businesses and employees.

CPE Note: Registration/check-in opens at 6:00 pm; the course starts promptly at 6:30 pm. Late arrivals (and early departures) will not be eligible to claim the full two hours of CPE credit and will be asked to adjust their hours accordingly.

Meet the Speaker

Stephen Harris
Louisiana Workforce Commission

Stephen C. Harris is the Employer Outreach Liaison, who joined the Louisiana Workforce Commission in late 2008. He has worked in various roles in the Office of Unemployment Insurance Administration, including in the Tax Operations division and as the employer liaison in charge of outreach.

Harris brings a wealth of business experience and knowledge to the agency. His professional background includes more than 15 years in the banking and investment industry, in addition to more than five years in grants and contract management. Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Louisiana State University.
