He is a financial modeler and forecaster, currently responsible for predicting membership activity for over 1.6 million Louisianans who carry a Blue Cross Card.

Michael earned his MBA and BA from Louisiana State University and just celebrated his 35th year as a cancer survivor. He’s been married to the very patient Marla for 32 years and they have three children.

Michael is currently employed as the Healthcare Economist and Exchange Coordinator for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana.

Congressman Mike Johnson is a Republican member of Congress proudly serving Louisiana’s Fourth District. Mike was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives on December 10, 2016, by the largest margin of victory in his region in more than 50 years.

He was appointed to the powerful House Judiciary Committee and two of its subcommittees – the Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security, and the House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security and Investigations. He also serves on the House Natural Resources Committee overseeing American energy production, mineral issues, fisheries and several other key contributors to Louisiana’s economy. As vice chairman of the Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, Mike is one of only three freshmen members to chair a subcommittee in the House. He was also appointed to the Subcommittee on Water, Power and Oceans. Mike earned his Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1998.

Stephen Morgan

Mr. Morgan has more than 20 years of investment management experience, the last eight with Capital One where he chairs the Investment Group’s Asset Allocation and Investment Product Committees. He also sits on the Investment Policy Committee and is co-portfolio manager of the firm’s infrastructure MLP strategy. Mr. Morgan earned his BA degree from Carleton College and his MA in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Ted received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University of New Orleans and his masters from the University of New Orleans. He taught accounting at the University of Texas at Austin and is now on the faculties of both Loyola and the University of New Orleans.

Ted is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and its Tax Section. He is a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and has received the Society's Distinguished Service Award and Outstanding Discussion Leader Award.

Ted has discussed tax issues on many of the New Orleans radio and television stations and has addressed many local, state and national organizations. After Hurricane Katrina, he worked closely with the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and the IRS concerning the disaster and its related tax issues.

Ted has been a speaker at the AICPA National Industry Conference and the AICPA Conference on Tax Strategies for the High Income Individual. He has also led seminars for the Society of Louisiana Certified Accountants and for its chapters.

Ted is a recipient of the Monte M. Lemann Award in recognition of his contributions to Louisiana Civil Service.
