According to ACFE’s 2016 global fraud study, 30% of fraud cases occurred in small businesses and 60% of small-business fraud victims didn’t recover any of their losses. This presentation will discuss common fraud schemes, identify typical red flags and will also cover various strategies for fraud prevention. You’ll learn about the alarming statistics regarding the occurrences of fraud both in the United States, as well as globally. You may also hear some war stories dealing with Ralph’s experiences of the past two decades as a forensics accountant.

Meet Our Presenter

Ralph Litolff Jr., CPA, CFF, ABV, CVA, MBA

Ralph is the founder of RAL Forensics. He has over 24 years of experience in public accounting, including consulting engagements for a wide variety of closely-held and publicly-traded companies as well as government and nonprofit entities. He provides advisory services to business owners and attorneys in the areas of forensic accounting, business valuation, financial analyses, forecasts and projections, profitability improvement studies, business planning, internal control reviews, commercial litigation and bankruptcy and restructuring.

Ralph holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Loyola University of New Orleans.

He is a Certified Public Accountant, accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics and also holds the designation as a Certified Valuation Analyst. Over the course of his career, Ralph has also earned the credentials as a Certified Government Finance Manager and a Certified Financial Services Auditor.
