Course Description

This webinar is a continuation of Excel PivotTables for Accountants – Part I. It extends and builds upon the foundation of PivotTable topics covered in that course and includes in-depth coverage of using advanced data summary functions and creating calculated items and fields.

Objectives

Upon completing this course, you should be able to:

  • Create PivotTables and PivotCharts and add advanced elements to PivotTables, such as calculated fields and calculated items
  • Describe three methods for making calculations in PivotTables
  • Create enterprise-class PivotTables from large and complex data sets, using tools such as On Line Analytic Processing and PowerPivot
  • Utilize advanced sorting and filtering techniques, PivotCharts, and GETPIVOTDATA to analyze PivotTable data
  • Describe how to apply specific PivotTable techniques such as Show Report Filter Pages and VLOOKUPs to solve specific issues associated with PivotTables
