Course Description

Excel 2016’s new “Get & Transform” feature is an incredibly powerful new toolset that can simplify your work. Combining features used in the Power BI and Power Query add-ins, Get & Transform enables you to easily connect to data from a variety of sources and then prepare it for use or analysis. These tools provide efficient new methods for accomplishing tasks that were previously manual and time-consuming. In this webcast, we’ll apply these tools in several typical scenarios, including flattening data, splitting and combining columns, formatting data, unpivoting summarized data, and combining several CSV exports. If you regularly import or export data from one system to another, you will definitely want to learn how to leverage a Get & Transform query to streamline your work.
