This course is designed to help accountants and financial managers understand how organizations are using mobile technologies and the latest computer hardware to work effectively from almost anywhere on land.

Objectives

Upon completing this course, you should be able to:

  • Understand ways to effectively use smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other portable devices to work from anywhere
  • Learn how mobile apps and smartphones can be used for remote data entry, credit card acceptance, document scanning, and photography
  • Identify some of the security concerns associated with mobile offices, and learn strategies for protecting the confidentiality of your data
