Evaluating current and historical performance of your Company is a crucial step in developing goals for the future. This session will focus on key elements in a comprehensive approach for measuring your company’s performance. This includes financial ratios, which are excellent tools in financial analysis. Another is trending analysis, which tracks the financial ratios and financial indicators over time and as your company continues to develop. Lastly, this session will discuss the importance of benchmarking, which is the process of comparing and measuring performance against other organizations to gain information that will help your Company take action to improve its operations.

Speaker Bio

Christina Chifici, CPA, CIT, CCIFP

Christina serves as a director-in-charge in the firm’s Audit Services Department.

Christina has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, employee benefit plans, non-profits, governmental entities, and small businesses. She has performed audits, compilations and reviews for numerous construction clients. Additionally she has consulted on accounting systems, accounting software, and internal controls.

In the employee benefits area, Chifici has provided audit and consulting services for clients in the construction, banking, manufacturing, gaming, retail and nursing services industries. She has performed both operational and compliance reviews of employee benefits plans with assets that range from less than $1 million to $22 million.

Daniel Williams, CPA, CCIFP

With over 10 years of public accounting experience, Daniel has emerged as a leader focused on growth and knowledge transfer across both LaPorte’s construction and employee benefit plan industry groups. He provides audit and consulting services to a wide range of construction clients including residential, non-residential, heavy highway, specialty trades, and those in marine/shipbuilding. He also focuses on providing audits of employee benefit plans, including 401(k), pension, and profit-sharing plans.
