Gina Rachel, CPA • 2017-18 LCPA Chair
Gina was named the 2017-18 Chair of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA). A Director in the Postlethwaite & Netterville Tax Services Group, Gina has 20 years of public accounting experience. She is the fifth female president in the association's 106-year history and a past president of LCPA's New Orleans Chapter. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Nicholls State University.
Within the community, Gina serves on the board of Eden House, an organization dedicated to ending human and sex trafficking. She also serves as Secretary/Treasurer at Center for Resilience which works to provide individualized mental health services and placement to students whose mental and behavioral health needs cannot be met in a traditional school setting.
Ron Gitz II, CPA, CGMA • LCPA Executive Director & CEO
Ron serves as Executive Director & CEO of the Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA). Prior to joining the non-profit professional association in 2012, Ron had a diverse career working both in public practice and industry. He owned and operated several businesses, including a restaurant, a document imaging and management solutions company, and later, a successful CPA practice. At the national level, Ron currently on the Board of Trustees for AICPA’s Benevolent Fund which helps members through temporary periods of financial difficulties. He also is a member of AICPA’s Peer Review Kitchen Cabinet and is President-Elect of the CPA Society Executives Association. On the state level, he serves on the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry’s Taxation & Finance Council and is a member of the Committee of 100. He holds both the CPA and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designations.
