Strategic Planning Committee
Committee Structure & Function
This committee shall be composed of no more than seventeen members. The President, President-elect and Treasurer, and six Board Members-at-Large will automatically be members. The Executive Director will be an ex-officio member.
The committee should meet to consider and develop the Society’s short and long-range strategic plan. The committee is to be aware at all times of public relations opportunities; should inform the Public Relations Committee of such opportunities, and seek the help and the assistance of Public Relations Committee and Society staff in implementing the particular committee’s functions.The committee is also to promote efficient operation of Society committees by making appropriate recommendations to the Board of Directors for changes in composition, size, function and procedures of committees.
