Medical & HealthCare Issues Task Force
Committee Structure and Function
This task force should be made up of no more than 15 members. The members shall be representatives of the various membership constituencies and work in the Medical & Healthcare areas.
Objective
To advise the membership of the many opportunities as well as challenges for the public and industry CPA, in the Medical & Healthcare environment.
1. Plan the annual Medical & Healthcare Workshop, as well as explore other medical & healthcare related programs.
Procedures
1. Work in cooperation with the Continuing Professional Education Committee on developing and sponsoring offerings in the medical & healthcare areas.
2. To actively encourage the chapters to organize discussion groups and/or forums on medical & healthcare issues.
Workshop Procedure
1. Schedule an organization meeting to determine topics and speakers for the annual workshop. Establish goals, procedures, and responsibilities for a successful event.
2. Schedule a post workshop meeting to review evaluation scores and participant comments and plan next year’s workshop.
3. Maintain, update and furnish to succeeding committee a detailed manual or organizational file on administration and operations of the workshop.
