Industry Committee
Committee Structure & Function
This committee shall be composed of no more than 22 members. Any LCPA member on the AICPA's Industry Member Committee will serve as an ex-officio member. The chairman shall also have a seat on the CPE Committee.
The chair may also appoint three subgroups to carry out the Small Business Controllers Workshop, the Business and Industry Conference, and the Career Workshop.
The committee shall regularly review the Society services and make recommendations, if warranted, for improving the services' utilization by industry members. Examples of committees of special interest are: CPE, Consultation Service, and Public Relations & Publications. They will advise the CPE committee on Marketing Needs. When needed the committee will also appoint ad hoc Industry members to specific projects or committees when industry needs are to be addressed. The committee is responsible for planning and organizing the annual Business & Industry Conference to meet the educational needs of Industry Members.
