Financial Institutions Committee
Committee Structure & Function
This committee shall be composed of no more than 15 members.
The committee will represent all types of financial institutions with the principal emphasis placed on banking and secondary emphasis placed on the savings and loan industry.
The objectives of the Financial Institutions Committee are:
1. To enhance the overall image and capabilities of certified public accountants with bankers. This includes creating an understanding on the part of the Financial Institutions public in Louisiana about what a CPA really does and could do for them.
2. To educate the LCPA membership and Financial Institutions publics on current technical topics and issues.
3. To continue to create a better understanding and use of financial statements by Financial Institution officials.
