Career Awareness Committee
Committee Structure & Function
This committee shall be composed of chapter counterpart committee chairpersons and such other members as may be appointed by the President-Elect. The committee shall be composed of no more than eighteen members.
The objective of the Career Awareness Committee is to obtain more and better qualified personnel for the accounting profession through the development of programs to:
a) Recruit a greater number of outstanding high school students to college level studies in accounting.
b) Encourage college students to major in accounting.
c) Encourage college accounting students to sit for the CPA exam and enter the profession.
