Annual Convention Committee
Committee Structure & Function
This committee shall be composed of 10 members. The chair shall be selected by the Society President-Elect from the committee membership and shall have had experience working with other annual conventions. Members should be selected from those who attend annual conventions and those expressing interest in attending. In order to infuse new ideas and approaches to the convention, some new members should be appointed each year.
The objective of the Annual Convention Committee is to plan and implement the annual convention, including sleeping and meeting facilities, meetings and programs, publicity, meals, entertainment, transportation and all related activities. Responsible for recommending future annual convention sites to the Board of Directors.
